Connect Zoho Recruit to Fabius using OAuth to help screen candidates based on the job descriptions (JDs) you create in Fabius.
Overview
The Zoho Recruit integration enables Fabius to:
- Assist with candidate screening using the context of your Fabius-generated JDs
- Write back results to Zoho Recruit (candidate scores as interviews, status/state updates)
- Keep your hiring workflows within your existing Zoho stack while leveraging Fabius analysis
Note: This guide covers connecting Zoho via OAuth. It does not change any Zoho configuration in your account.
Prerequisites
Before connecting Zoho Recruit:
- An active Zoho Recruit account with permission to authorize third‑party apps
- An active Fabius account with access to Settings → Integrations
Setup Process
Step 1: Open Integrations
- Log in to Fabius at app.fabius.io
- Go to Settings → Integrations
- Find Zoho Recruit in the list
Step 2: Authorize Zoho
- Click Connect on the Zoho Recruit card
- You’ll be redirected to Zoho to grant access
- Review the requested permissions and click Accept/Allow to continue
Permissions Requested (Shown by Zoho)
During authorization, Zoho displays the following permissions for Fabius:
- Data Access: READ, CREATE, UPDATE, DELETE
- Zoho description: “Provides access to all the module related data of the logged-in user”
- Bulk Operations
- Zoho description: “To allow all operations on large amount of data”
- Settings Management
- Zoho description: “To manage settings related details”
You will be prompted to click Accept to allow Fabius to access data in your Zoho account.
Step 3: Confirm Connection
After authorization, you’ll return to Fabius. Verify:
- Status shows Connected
- The connected Zoho Recruit account is listed
- You can disconnect or reconnect if needed
How It Helps
Once connected, Fabius can use your Zoho Recruit context to support screening candidates against the JDs you create in Fabius. Fabius also writes back candidate-related outcomes to Zoho Recruit (e.g., records interview-style scores and updates candidate state) to keep systems in sync.
Privacy & Security
- OAuth 2.0 authentication; no passwords are shared
- Permissions reflect Zoho’s OAuth scope prompt shown during connection
- You can disconnect Zoho anytime from Settings → Integrations
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues:
- Reconnect Zoho Recruit from Settings → Integrations
- Ensure you’re authorizing with the correct Zoho Recruit account
- Confirm your Zoho org allows third‑party app connections
- Contact support at [email protected] if problems persist
