Core Concepts

Understanding these fundamental entities is key to managing your Fabius workspace effectively.
  • What it is: Represents an individual person logging into and using the Fabius platform.
  • Key Properties:
    • ID: Unique identifier within Fabius.
    • First Name, Last Name, Email: Basic profile information.
    • Linked Accounts: Connections to the user’s identity on external platforms (e.g., their Gong or Zoom account), ensuring data like call recordings are correctly associated. Visible on the user list and detail pages.
    • Team Memberships: Lists the Teams (User Groups) the user belongs to.
    • Welcome Email Sent: A flag indicating if the initial welcome/setup email has been dispatched.
  • What it is: A way to group users together, often reflecting your organizational structure (e.g., SDR Team - East, Enterprise AE Team, Customer Success Managers). Internally, these may be referred to as User Groups.
  • Key Properties & Roles:
    • ID: Unique identifier for the team.
    • Name: The display name of the team (e.g., “West Coast Sales”).
    • Members: The list of Users who are part of this team.
    • Manager: A single User assigned as the team lead. Managers typically have administrative rights over the team and visibility into its members’ performance and activities.
    • Viewers: A list of Users who are granted read-only access to the team’s data and performance metrics. This allows cross-functional visibility (e.g., a Sales VP viewing multiple teams) without granting management privileges.
