Permissions & Visibility

Fabius uses team assignments to control what users can see and do within the platform.

Team-Based Visibility

Assigning users to Teams, and designating Managers and Viewers, directly impacts data visibility, particularly for team performance metrics and potentially other team-scoped features.
  • Team Members: Can typically see their own performance data and potentially aggregated, anonymized data for the teams they belong to.
  • Team Manager:
    • Usually has full visibility into the performance data and potentially individual interactions of all members within their assigned team(s).
    • May have rights to edit team settings or manage team membership (depending on overall Admin privileges).
  • Team Viewers:
    • Granted read-only access to view the performance data and potentially interactions for the specific team(s) they are assigned to view.
    • This allows stakeholders (like executives, sales ops, or managers of other teams) to monitor performance without having management responsibilities for that specific team.
A Sales Manager assigned as the Manager of the “SDR - East Coast” team could likely view the detailed call scores and activity metrics for all SDRs in that team on the /teams page. A VP of Sales added as a Viewer to that same team could see the team’s overall performance charts and potentially the member list. A standard User on the team would see their own stats and how they are doing against the team average.
Combining User Roles with Team Manager/Viewer assignments provides a flexible system for controlling data access and visibility according to your organizational needs.
