Connect your Google Calendar to Fabius to automatically detect Google Meet meetings and process their transcripts for analysis.
Overview
Google Calendar integration enables:
- Google Meet Detection: Automatically identify Google Meet meetings in your calendar
- Transcript Processing: Download and analyze Google Meet transcripts
- Meeting-Call Linking: Associate calendar events with call records
- Participant Identification: Extract attendee information from calendar events
Prerequisites
Before setting up Google Calendar:
- Google Calendar or Google Workspace account
- Google Meet meetings with transcript recording enabled
- Active Fabius account with integration permissions
Setup Process
Step 1: Connect Google Calendar

Access Integration Settings
- Log in to Fabius at app.fabius.io
- Navigate to Settings → Integrations
- Find the Google Calendar section

Authorize Connection
- Click Connect Google Calendar
- Sign in to your Google account when prompted
- Grant the requested permissions:
- View your calendars
- View events and details
- Access basic profile information

- Confirm the status shows “Connected”
- Check that your Google account is listed
- Note the connection timestamp
Step 2: Enable Google Meet Transcripts
For Fabius to analyze your meetings, ensure Google Meet transcripts are enabled:

In Google Meet Settings
- During a Google Meet, click Activities → Transcripts
- Click Start transcript to begin recording
- Transcripts will be automatically saved to Google Drive

For Automatic Transcripts
- As a Google Workspace admin, you can enable automatic transcription
- This ensures all meetings have transcripts available for analysis

- Detect Transcripts: Identify meetings that have associated Google Meet transcripts
